Artist Statement

These pieces are moments of my emotional metamorphosis. They are parallel to the duality of complex as a being.

Symbolizing relativity, I favor black and white. Red was a detrimental color in my upbringing. I was told that I wasn't to wear the color, it was frowned upon. I began to challenge myself to create with it. Blue showed itself to me as the power source in pulsating the flow of communication.

In my flow I welcome darkness, it allows me to see light. There is something intoxicating about the cycle of a balance. I believe that rebirthing the color red, changed my perspective. Flowing through colors and their relationships is my form of color therapy. This allows me to reflect and rise above what I was taught
